In an effort to launch Nike’s new innovative running shoe with the end of goal of recruiting runners to register for an epic 10k two months later, Nike worked with Kevin Hart announce the Nike Go LA 10k. Traffic being LA’s greatest barrier would finally be eradicated enabling athletes to run on a ‘shut down’ freeway on 4.22. To announce the race, Nike commissioned Kevin Hart to challenge Los Angeles drivers to run sainted of sitting in traffic. Kevin ran in a treadmill inside a transparent box truck as he called out drivers sitting on the 405 freeway.
